Tool Control Foam

Tool Control Foam is a closed cell foam with cut-outs produced to suit a kit of tools or equipment. The most popular format is a two colour design with black on top and a bright colour below which aids identification of missing items, however, any combination can be accommodated (your corporate colours or work area identification). Popular colours available are Black, White, Yellow, Blue, Red & Green, however, other colours are available please contact us with details of your requirements.

Rout 1 has many years' experience in designing Tool Control Foam and can reverse engineer your tools and equipment in order to accurately produce cut-outs in the foam to accommodate your items.

We can design the Tool Control Foam from different levels of information:

• Your CAD drawing
• Your sketch with dimensions
• Outline drawings of each item
• Photographs (with scale included, please contact us for guidance on photo's)
• Actual equipment sent to Rout 1
• Rout 1 will visit site to assess your requirements

The customer can have as much or as little input in the design as they feel necessary, you can leave us to design the layout in a logical way using our experience or you can specify exactly how you wish the design to be presented.

From the initial design we will send you a preview for your approval and then manufacture the Tool Control Foam to that specification.

Other options available are:

• Engraving directly into the foam for identification
• Engraving labels to identify tools/equipment
• Inserts manufactured from hard plastic (where cleaning maybe required e.g. food production areas)
• Laser Etching of tools to identify kits
